Jennifer Flad was named Executive Director in September 2013. Under her guidance, Exceptional Foundation Gulf Coast as made steady growth. Jennifer has been known in the Fairhope Community since 2007 being a prominent member of First Baptist Fairhope, Fairhope Soccer Academy, President of the Junior Auxiliary of the Eastern Shore and the Past-President of the Downtown Fairhope Association. Through her volunteer work with the Junior Auxiliary of the Eastern Shore she found her passion of working with the special needs community. She is using her Degree in Hospitality, earned at the East Stroudsburg University, along with her community connection to grow EFGC. 

​Lee is originally from the Mobile area and recently retired after forty years of serving as a United Methodist minister in Alabama, Florida, Texas, Mississippi, and Louisiana. He and his wife Ginny live in the Steelwood Community north of Loxley. Lee has a background in mental health and has always had a passion for meeting the needs of special needs children and adults. He began volunteering at EFGC in January of 2019 and loved it so much he asked to be on staff. 

Ronnie was raised in Spanish Fort, Alabama and still resides there. He graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2020 with a degree in Music Education. He aspires to one day get involved with Music Therapy. During his free time he likes to exercise and play video games. 

Micah is originally from Robertsdale, Alabama and currently resides in Silverhill. He was hired on as a Program Assistant in 2023 and now also leads our Athletic Program and fitness club! A fun fact about Micah is he coaches Varsity girls basketball at Central Christian in Robertsdale. 

Whitney is originally from Mobile, Al and still calls it her home. She was hired on as a Program Assistant in 2023 and is set to lead our upcoming gardening and book club in the new year! A fun fact about Whitney, she is a proud left-hander and an avid dog lover! 

Hannah Barr has lived in Baldwin County for over 10 years. She, her husband Robert, and her son Stetson live in Loxley, Alabama. Hannah started volunteering with the foundation and realized her passion for working with special needs. Five years ago she was accepted on as a staff member and has been a valuable asset ever since. Hannah is now EFGC'S Program Director, running day to day operations, and marketing. In her free time, Hannah enjoys spending time with family and friends and making fun memories with our participants. 

Daisy is originally from Houston, Texas, but now lives in Daphne with her husband Justin and daughter Margo. She started at EFGC two years ago as a Program Assistant, and has advanced to running day to day operations as Participant Coordinator.  During her free time, Daisy likes to hike, garden, and travel with her family. 

Ellie is originally from Fairhope and still resides there. She graduated from Birmingham Southern with a major in Collaborative Education. A fun fact about Ellie is she used to live in Uganda, where she taught Special Education!

Hope is originally from Pensacola, Fl  and now resides in Daphne with her husband and two children.  She was hired on as a Program Assistant in 2023 and now runs our Cooking Program and coffee club. A fun fact about Hope, in her free time she likes to made her own pickles!

Jaylin is originally from Brewton, Alabama, but currently resides in Daphne. He graduated from Troy University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and Public Relations. Jaylin joined the EFGC family in December 2023 as a Program Assistant. A fun fact about him is his talent for playing the piano and drums!
