Korie Christensen, Program Assistant

My husband Steve and I moved to Fairhope from Central California in July of 2014. We have three adult children that have since relocated as well and are enjoying life on the Gulf Coast. One is a psychology graduate, one an engineer, and the youngest is a junior in Marine Biology at South Alabama. Prior to leaving California I enjoyed a career in accounting but now enjoy spending time with my friends at EFGC...aka my Happy Place.

Hannah Hartigan, Program Assistant

Hannah Hartigan has lived in Daphne, Alabama for over 10 years. Hannah is currently a student at the University of South Alabama getting her degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. In her free time, Hannah enjoys spending time with family and friends. She has an older brother who attends Troy University and will be graduating this year and a younger sister in middle school. Her parents reside in Tulsa, Oklahoma with her younger sister. Hannah began working at EFGC last summer and absolutely loves working here!

Shannon Lavinghouse, Art Director

Shannon Lavinghouse and her husband Jimmy moved to the Daphne area two years ago. She is passionate about helping others learn to create and be creative. She makes sure each participant knows that - "everyone is an artist"! Her love of art comes from growing up in a very artistic family. Shannon has a background in advertising and marketing. She has also been involved with several organizations whose goals were to advocate for abused and neglected children, as well as victims of domestic violence. Shannon's love of travel also keeps her busy as a part-time travel agent. During her down time, she loves re-purposing items and turning trash to treasure!

Linda McNamara, Volunteer Coordinator

My name is Linda McNamara, EFGC Volunteer Coordinator. While it was my husband's job that brought our family of  two children, now grown, to Daphne over 15 years ago, it has been my passion for children, families and learning that  led to my involvement with the Exceptional Foundation Gulf Coast. I have taught over 10 years in public schools, received a Master's Degree in Education and moved in and out of six states in the process. Most recently served, and then retired, as Director of Children's Ministry at St. Paul's Church. I was in the position that the possibility of a program to serve adults with special needs was envisioned, and I am excited yet humbled to be apart of the reality - from volunteer to staff member - it is wonderful to see the EFGC program grow and to serve so many exceptional folks and their families.
